CPRT Workshop: Highlights for Professionals

Are you a teacher, clinician, or other professional eager to learn advanced parenting and caregiving skills to implement within your career?

Then this unique CPRT workshop is designed to equip you!

In this interactive workshop, you will learn some of the powerful principles and professional counseling skills utilized in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, which is based on the only evidence-based form of play therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy.

In this 9-hour training (in person for 2 half-days, plus a 2-hour video call), you will gain practical knowledge and skills for your own professional development, for the betterment of your work with parents and children, and to benefit your non-professional relationships as well. Even if you don't typically work directly with children, you will learn and practice useful skills during this workshop that will help you when providing professional guidance to parents.

∙  Reflective Listening Skills
∙  Disadvantages of Asking Questions
∙ 3 Parenting Styles
∙  Specific Limit-Setting Technique

*This CPRT workshop only covers portions of the entire 20-hour CPRT training course;
therefore, more training would be needed to be qualified to conduct filial therapy/“special
playtimes” or to train others in CPRT.
